Walked into a haunted house.
Child on the floor, crying.
Cruel words taking shape of water, dissolving into tears,
reaching down and wetting her cheeks,
then finding their way to her lips,
letting her taste the saltiness of the words.

Others outside the room, laughing at something they just said to a child, thinking it's gonna make everyone laugh.
She laughed with them.

Rotting on the bed, it's almost day.
She didn't move outside, didn't go to have fun with others,
called herself antisocial.
